Next step

Now that the blocking's all done (hippee hurray *little jig around my desk*) I have to start the assembling process. I'm shaking. Honestly, I'm so worried about messing it up. But I'm a big girl (no pun intended) and I'm sure it'll be ok in the end. Anyway, this is my blanket, mine all mine, and it's my first one, so whatever happens, I'll be very proud!! Here we go...

oooooooo - I'm liking the look of that.

You are a clever lady. I'm sure you'll make a fabulous job of sewing it all together.

It's gonna look beautiful when it's all finished - the colours are so darn pretty.

It looks lovely so far. The soft, natural colours you've used a beautiful!

Good luck!! Man I hate the joining process, so tedious and boring! But it'll be finished before you know it now.

Looks beautiful! Are you doing the join as you go method or crocheting or stitching it?

Ah it's going to look lovely. In fact I'm very tempted by the idea of getting going on a chunky afghan in naturals for the winter.

Your blanket looks gorgeous, I really love the colours. You are going to be so happy snuggled up like a bug in a rug. I actually enjoy the joining process, it's kind of nice to somewhat mindlessly stitch along until it's all done up together. Great job, can't wait to see the final blanket.

Hazel - I'm crocheting all the finished squares together! Couldn't really do the join as you go method, because I wanted to try out all sorts of colour combinations first, and had no idea how many squares that would give me! Now that I've started, it's not so daunting either, so I'm quite pleased! Still some way to go though...!
