That is how I would describe my weekend. Utter pleasure. Fantastic weather. Pure crafting marathon.
I loved every minute of it.
Sitting on a hill near home yesterday afternoon, cup of chai latte in one hand (my new favourite hot drink), knitting in the other, I felt content. Content with my life. That my dears, is a great feeling, one that I'm not accustomed with. But there I was, the sun warming my face and hands, and it all suddenly made sense.
That's why I wake up early and go to work every day. To enjoy sweet moments like this. I tell you, it's all worth it.
I hope you all had as lovely a weekend as I did. Really I do :-)

Yeahy! You sorted out your photo issue - how?! Love the rainbow below! So pretty!!! Can't believe how much wool it took!!!
This weekend was wonderful wasn't it? Just goes to show how a little sunshine can improve everyone's day! xxx
No I haven't yet! Just making them much smaller so they fit, as I've got about 0.01% of my allowance left! Still thinking about how to solve the problem...!
Days like that make everything else seem worthwhile. I didn't manage to knit this weekend, but I did have a fantastic greenhouse clearout and like you, I sat outside with my (builders)tea and felt that all was well with the world at last.
What are you knitting (I'm knitting in cream too!)
It sounds divine. I think the extra sun this weekend improved everyone's weekend. x
PS: Have you tried Chai Latte tea bags by Twinings? They are very good and don't have as many cals as the tradition version.
My weekend was pretty special because of outside time and sunshine too. Unfortunately we've all come down with colds overnight...
Ahh, al fresco crafting - looks wonderful :)
It's the herringbone cowL!! And it's looking good - knit on!
