Eurgh what now?!!

Right, today was going to be good. It was going to be the Arc-en-ciel super reveal.

But I've got a problem, a technical problem.

Apparently I've reached the limit for photos with Blogger and to add any more I'd have to pay money. Anyone come across this before? Any suggestions?? I definitely don't want to have to pay for this, but the thought of removing old photos or reducing them in size is 1/ a bit crap and 2/ would take a ridiculous amount of time.

Mmmm what to do now?!!! Any suggestions welcome!

Hi

You may well have found this answer but here goes anyway...

I Googled the problem and found this

They suggest trying to upload through your mobile, or Picasa or other sources such as flikr - I guess this is instead of from your computer.

I hope this helps and that you don't have to start another blog. Blimey that would be a pain!

Oh my god I had no idea this could be an issue, what a pain in the proverbial!

If I was any good with technical stuff I'd offer help, but in the meantime I'll just have to offer sympathy.

Oh no - I didn't know this could happen either!! Wendz's suggestion sounds like a good one, but then Flickr has a monthly limit too (not sure about Picasa) - please let us know how you get on. Looking forward to seeing the arc-en-ciel xx

I've got my head in the sand about this problem too, nearing my quota and not found out what to do yet. Thanks for your lovely words on my blog. Looking forward to your grand reveal!

What? I never knew this could be the case...how rubbish!! I hope you sort it out!

Also thanks for your words -I am going to seek out chocolate asap - you are right. Just been feeling down for a while and it all just came up to the surface. But I need to go easy on myself a bit! xxx

PS Weirdly your comments don't appear to be showing on my blog page either though I get them via mail... something is up me thinks! Is there a blogger admin person you could contact?! xxx

I think it's the photo storage on Picasa/Blogger that has the limit - try hosting your pics on flickr and posting them from there.

Eventually you will hit a flickr limit too though and have to pay for storage somewhere, somehow.

I never knew this! I upload through webshots of which you get loads of free space.

I host on photobucket but I pay £15 a year for storage on there because free storage and bandwith wasn't enough. I use wordpress, so not sure of the differences with blogger.

I have a flickr pro account which I use for all my blog photos. It's about £22 a year which isn't a huge amount in the grand scheme of things.
