Be such a pain in the backside?!
On Saturday, three hours to get home in the car, when it usually only takes 15min....
All week, endless delays on the trains and packed like sardines...
Departures rescheduled or cancelled...
Queues of over three hours in the cold for a train to another country....
Can't say I've enjoyed the snow very much recently. Never thought I'd say this, but a bit of rain might be nice!

Are you in France yet then? Was wondering how you were going to get over there.
Not yet - planning on joining the Eurostar queues early on Chrismas eve morning...
Its a sign of getting older! It does look so beautiful though. xxxx
Good luck, will be thinking of you. I travelled home from London on Sunday and the madness around Kings Cross and St Pancras! So glad I risked getting home the long way on Sunday rather than wait til Mon as I think I'd still be there. Fingers crossed for you xxx
It's all the same all over Europe. I'm glad I'm not traveling this year for Xmas.
What time is your train on Friday? We're due on the 11.32.
It's pretty much back to normal, now. But it wasn't looking good yesterday!
@ Melanie: I think it's around 7.30 in the morning! I walked past St Pancras this morning and there wasn't a massive queue of people like there was yesterday so I'm keeping my fingers crossed...! Good luck to you too!
good luck with your Christmas plan... wish you a good one wherever you may be!
I'll keep my fingers very firmly crossed that everything goes OK with your travel arrangements.
Have a wonderful Christmas and best wishes for the New Year.
