Birthday surprise

Mr Petit Filoux turned another year older and I wanted to mark the occasion. Do something crazy, out of the ordinary, something he wouldn't suspect, because I wanted to mark the occasion. I wanted to be original. But not totally mental, so I took him back to a part of the country that we both love, the North Norfolk coast. It's simply stunning, we know cute little villages, good pubs, good places to eat, and where to take photos of sheep and alpacas. It doesn't get better than that.

So in between these lovely drinks...

And having this gorgeous breakfast...

We did wake up to this...

I bet you're a little bit confused. What the hell is that photo all about?!! Well, it was the view from one of our "windows".... Another clue? Here we go...

Yes I know, I'm cre-a-zzy!!!! I took my poor boyfriend camping on the 1st of November!!! But you know what, we had a great time. I'd planned everything meticulously, packed every thing we needed (think thermal clothes and woolly hats mostly) and it all went well. My mother thought I'd gone completely mad. Her conclusions were that if I were going out with a French bloke, I'd now be single. Hmmm.... Anyway!!! Want to see more from our lovely trip?? (Sorry, even if you're shouting no, I can't hear you!) So... this is where we made our first cup of coffee. On the edge of a field, with the sun just rising, opening birthday presents, it was magical...

Then came the sea views. My camera if full of them and I just can't get enough. I might have to print a couple and frame them because these boats make my heart flutter. I can't find the words to describe the absolute beauty of these landscapes, so I'll stay silent and let you enjoy these in peace. What I wouldn't give to live in that part of the world...

Have a lovely Thursday all, the weekend is nearly upon us! xx

Those are stunningly blue blue BLUE boat pictures. I actually double-taked they're so arresting.

You really should have prints made.

I'm very impressed. As a fairweather camper I would agree that camping in November is not for the faint of heart! Your pictures are beautiful.
