Surprise, knitting etc (that's usually snow these days)

On Saturday, I received a most anticipated package in the post. A few weeks ago, I was lucky enough to win a giveaway over at Tollipop's. I love this woman's work, she is so talented!! So you can imagine how over the moon I was when I saw I'd won. Me! I mean, I never win anything!!!! Well actually, I feel like I've been pretty lucky since starting this blog, maybe it's a sign! Anyway, back to the point. Let me show you what I got. It was so nicely wrapped, I must have stared at it for a good 30min before finally deciding to open it.

And then I did. But I very nicely waited until Sunday morning to take a photo of it for you. Coz I'm nice like that. And because I needed natural light to show you how exquisite it is. Just look at it.

I love it. I still need to find somewhere to put it, somewhere where I will enjoy it, somewhere where I can show it off!! It's so pretty, I'm nearly inspired to taking up stitching myself!! Yeah, not really, don't think I have the patience for it!

Anyway, so that made me REALLY happy. Such talent, such generosity. It just fills me with happiness bubbles which lift my mood. Thank you Tollipop!!!

The rest of my weekend was filled with a little bit of this,

Followed by a little bit of this...

So pretty good really! Can't wait for the next one to start!! What, tis only Tuesday?!!

What a fun gift, I love the wrapping. Don't worry, the weekend will be here before you know it.

Lucky you! Your gift is gorgeous!

I've been doing a bit of knitting the last couple of evenings - maybe it's the snow, making me want to make cosy things...

Well done you, it's absolutely gorgeous.

Loving the colour of that wool, can't wait to see what it's going to turn in to!
