Inspired

That's how I'm feeling. Well, vaguely. Thank you so very much to those of you who left me such kind and above all interesting messages to yesterday's post. Seeing how hard I'm finding the controlling what I eat/ doing some exercice thing, I think I'm going to go with Swirlyarts and try and focus primarily on getting fit. Hopefully the eating with get itself into check automatically without it feeling like too much of a chore. Thanks for the advice!

And onto the work front. I found what you all said really interesting. Jane's story in particular was very thought provoking. I need to find something that makes me happy. And hopefully I can earn enough when doing whatever it is I end up doing so that I can live comfortably. I think this has made me realise I really need to start applying to new jobs. Looking quickly yesterday made me realise that there are a lot of January application deadlines out there, so I better get a move on! And thinking more seriously about possible business ideas...

In the meantime, I better crack on with what I'm meant to be doing, ie what pays the bills at the end of the month! Hope you all have a nice Thursday x

ps Sorry for the random photos, I was having fun with my new camera last night! More on that soon!!

Oh god that was the OTHEr thing I forgot to say on yesterday's post - I really laughed when you said about eating the whole bag of doritos and dip - I do that all the time!! It was nice not to feel alone. I'm liking Swirlyarts advice too - I need to focus on getting my backside actually to the gym before I start focusing on keeping my hands away from the crisps!

As for having your own business - is there anything you could do on the side to earn a bit of cash to start with? I know people who would definitely like some fingerless mittens!

Good luck with the new job searching. I agree that there are lots of people who would like things like your arm warmers and scarfs. You have a lot of talent. Perhaps you could set sell some and see where it takes you.

Glad you're feeling a little more positive today. I'm also aiming to start exercising more - I am totally incapable of dieting, far too greedy!! Even just getting back on the Wii Fit would be a start! Good luck with your job hunting. R x

I'm really glad my advice is helping you :) I've been walking about 3 miles each time I walk which is 3 times a week at the moment. Already I am feeling fitter i.e. not completely out of breath when I'm running up to school late as I have been crafting and not realised the time! I really do believe that my body (and yours may or may not be the same) can only cope with 1 change at a time and I think I am going to be well into February before I start thinking about what I'm shovelling into my mouth. I want a long term change to my health and fitness and not something I am going to go back on after a couple of months which I have done in the past! Good luck with it :)
