For xmas that is. I guess I might have enough for this year. If I make some more, I might be building up a collection for next year! Which in a way might not be a bad idea, but it kind of takes away the fun of crafting doesn't it?! So, I promised to show you the new cards I made at the weekend. Firstly, let me give credit where it is due. This lady's post last week inspired me to make them. I went to Hobbycraft, got myself the sticker making device, a couple of new punches, and ta-dah, the trick was done!!! I only realised once I'd got home that the flower punch I'd bought made pieces larger than could go through the machine, so I ended up stitching those to the card with gorgeous little buttons I purchase from this lady last week. A lot of purchases I know, but last Friday was pay day you see!!!! Oh, and you'll have realised by now, but those aren't xmas cards!! They could be used as anything really, but probably best as birthday cards, as they are so colourful.
I did however use the sticker machine with a little xmas tree punch I got. And I love the result. I guess I got a little punch happy though, and most magazines in the house now have holes in various pages!! I'm sure you won't mind though! ;-)
These are Boyfriend's favourites. Little trees making up larger trees.
I like them too. So, what's next? Well, it's Boyfriend's bday at the end of the week, and we're off to Bath at the weekend. I know, I know, it's only Tuesday, but to be fair, I need all I can get to get me through this week! Hope you're all well xx
ps: I can wholeheartedly recommend the spiced apple cake I blogged about yesterday (Good Food recipe), it's absolutely delicious!!! The recipe calls for grated nutmeg which I didn't have, so I just used cinnamon, and it's so so good! I've put some slices in the freezer so that we don't scoff it all down within 2 days!

Isn't the blogosphere a wonderful place! I went to that link for the cards, that led me to the button lady, and it was such fun! Love your button flower cards, very gorgeous indeed. Love Vanessa xxx
I love the Christmas tree stickers and am very tempted by the idea of a sticker machine.
Great cards, apple cake sounds really yummy right about now.
Oh my goodness. STICKER MACHINE!! Don't be giving me ideas.
I love them all - especially the flower cards. You need to set up a little online shop and start selling them - then you get to craft and make money at the same time!
(Don't worry I call everyone, of any age, lady. And if you're really lucky you get called Lady Jane!)
Have fun when you go to Bath - it's my boyfriend's birthday next week and we're going out for a meal - not quite Bath!!
lol sticker machine indeed!!! It's brilliant!!!!
I'm glad you like my cards!! Thing is, barely have enough time to make stuff for me, there's no way I've got time to make some to sell! And I'd have to work out costs etc, giving me a headache already!
A meal sounds nice too! We've taken next Monday off to celebrate in style, if the weather's ok we might go walking in the Chilterns. Rock and roll!! lol
Sticker machines are fabulous and a great way to use up old catalogues etc :)
