See these flowers? Don't they look gorgeous close up?
Well they didn't look like much from a distance. So I must thank this little blog of mine for making my eyes open wide. Without it, I think I would have been like the rest of them, walking straight past this beautiful nature that surrounds us.

I am envious - my crocosmia only has 3 flower spikes this year. That's the downside to blogging - the endless comparison of yourself (so often negatively).
Your crocosmias are lovely. I have some which are finally flowering for the first time this year, but they're the fiery red ones. I'd love to have some yellow ones too.
I should say these aren't mine! These photos were taken at our local golf club ;-)
I think blogging has opened all our eyes that little bit wider.
Our red lucifer crocosmia have done marvellously this year but the little orange ones are looking a bit sad. They got a tad beaten up by the fox cubs.
