11 days

11 days of holidays. All over now and looked back upon with great joy.

Like many others in the UK, the Petit Filoux household took 3 days off work and got 11 days off on the trot. We made the most of it and spent the last 8 days in Normandy, hence the erratic or rather non-existant posting.

We had a great time, from the debarquement beaches, to a goat farm, via a short camping trip and lots and lots of food. And espressos. And French magazines. And a rather eventful ferry trip home. I've got some real eye candy and funny stories for you. Stay tuned readers!

We enjoyed this last bank holiday and made the most of it. Eating out, walking in the sun, admiring Morris men and gardens in bloom. So no posting yesterday I'm afraid, and no gym either for that matter! We started the day in style though, having a lush breakfast at a local pub/ restaurant which was doing a special 1/2 price offer. So good in fact we might have gone two days on the trot. Don't tell my mother, she'll start getting worried about my waistline again.

So there, back to work, back to our little routine. Must go through my photos though before I can give you a snapshot of our lovely holiday back in France.

(loved this guy, he totally made me crack up, getting all the kids to stroke his 'real' horse!)
