It's beautiful

What is? England of course. I've been away for a month, and in that period of time, everything has changed. Spring has arrived, trees are in bloom, flowers have sprung up pretty much everywhere. And you know what? It's absolutely amazing. Coming from a place which is basically a desert with too much money, so irrigation isn't an obstacle, but is obviously an environmental absurdity, it came as quite a shock to see the country so beautiful. Just so green. Green. What a stunning colour, don't you agree? So there you go, a few photos taken in a London park this morning for you...

Hope you're having a lovely day x

ps Heather, I'm loving the dandelions too!! :-)

HURRAY FOR DANDELIONS!! The buildings next to my flat aren't very up on their horticultural activities so their lawns are covered in dandelions and I. love. it.

And HILARIOUSLY I was walking about this morning taking photos of cherry blossom in a park opposite work!!

I'd love to share them with you but you see I'm preparing a little soup post instead...

Daisies have got to be one of the most understated flowers (or weeds to some!) and one of the loveliest. That picture is great, had to sit for about an hour the other day making daisy chains with my daughter. I haven't done that for years and it was a good feeling!!

Hello! Thank you so much for your lovely comment on my blog. I do agree - the greenery has come out so quickly and I haven't even been out of the country!
Love the clarity of your pretty pictures.

Ah yes, I do miss the green green grass of home. Um, England that is! After years of living away, I do believe that there is a very particular shade of green that is ever so British!
