I still find it strange to have pancakes as a sweet! But my fave pancakes are with ice cream, hot chocolate sauce and fresh cream! and yes, I am overweight! Hope your troubles soon subside. xxxxxxDianehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11269721218424514656noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7186409297091509001.post-50568814946569698122010-02-10T14:56:18.865+00:002010-02-10T14:56:18.865+00:00I think that - i.e. why do I only have pancakes (B...I think that - i.e. why do I only have pancakes (British style pancakes that is, I eat American breakfast pancakes pretty frequently) - once a year almost every year but then it seems kind of wrong to start eating them frequently during Lent, and then by the time Lent is over I've forgetten again. Well done for getting in there early I say. And, yes, nutella whether on pancakes, or on a spoon, is just fabulous.Lizhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01332459807065582158noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7186409297091509001.post-67465203494698127912010-02-10T14:29:59.028+00:002010-02-10T14:29:59.028+00:00This can be your rehearsal for next week, just so ...This can be your rehearsal for next week, just so you know it will taste lovely!! I don't have a pan to make them in, so haven't ever, but I'm trying to keep my eyes out for a thrifted pan that will work, and then, there's no stopping me. Oh, and I fold them in four. I get what you mean about Nutella, a couple of weeks ago I made the mistake (:)) of putting a spoonful in a mug of hot milk to make hot chocolate.Jenniferhttp://theprairiegirl.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7186409297091509001.post-77393119134084754152010-02-10T12:04:35.491+00:002010-02-10T12:04:35.491+00:00Yum Yum!!! I love lemon & sugar, or maple syrup, and rolled up, but my son & hubs like them as dessert with ice cream and choc sauce, so then they get folded into quarters. I'm so pleased that pancake day is during half term, so we can have them all day if we want to!! (now you see why I don't do diets!)<br />Rachel xRachelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04290653909989504581noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7186409297091509001.post-67601665665714918242010-02-10T11:02:43.557+00:002010-02-10T11:02:43.557+00:00Lemon and Golden Syrup for me!
